"Of the Seasons" Series

“Of the Seasons” is a series of hand-colored woodcuts on Japanese rice paper employing oil paint stick and oil pastel. These works intend to document the nuances of change occurring in nature on the same subject captured over a period of time. “Of the Seasons” explores a human connection to nature contemplating the effects of changing conditions, seasons, and time on human experience—from moment to moment, from day to day, from season to season.
